Citrine is a variety of quartz whose colour ranges from a pale yellow to brown. Natural Citrine is rare; most commercial Citrine is heat-treated Amethyst. Brazil is the leading producer of Citrine. Believed to be one of the most uplifting of all the Quartz's; great for the liver and kidneys. -
